They say, “behind every successful man there stands a woman,” and this is certainly true with Kenneth Estes. Kenneth’s wife Norma Jean was in management with a large national retailer when she began a second career decorating homes.  As word of mouth expanded her business, she became aware of remodeling projects homeowners wanted to complete and Estes Building and Remodeling was off and running and the couple has never looked back.

As the projects they took on became more and more complicated Kenneth expanded his training and expertise.  It has always been important to Kenneth that the remodeling and new home construction projects he manages are built to an extremely high standard and will stand the test of time.  As a result, Kenneth is fully licensed by the State of Mississippi, bonded, and insured.

It is also important to Kenneth to support the home building industry and work to create and maintain standards for all builders.  To better tackle challenges in construction and home building, Kenneth has taken on local, State of Mississippi, and national leadership positions. He is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, President of the Home Building and Remodeling Association of Northeast Mississippi, Past President of the Home Builders Association of Mississippi (HBAM) and he is currently serving with the National Association of Homebuilders representing Mississippi and is a Certified Aging In Place Specialist (CAPS).

Additionally, Estes Building and Remodeling was recognized as Best of Show during the Home Builders Association of Mississippi awards in 2012, in 2016 HBAM builder of the year, and in 2019 HBAM remodeler of the year.
