The Mississippi Housing Institute (MHI) is an approved provider of education for the Mississippi State Board of Contractors. MHI offers both online and classroom courses.

Home Builders University
Through a partnership with the Oregon Home Builders Association, builders in Mississippi are able to access online continued education courses approved by the Mississippi State Board of Contractors.
The courses are broken into short segments for easy viewing and cover a variety of topics including safety, business management, and more. Only a few courses require a test, but all courses include a certificate.
Members of the Home Builders Association of Mississippi receive a discount on these courses, but they are available to the public.
