The Mississippi Housing Institute (MHI) is an approved education provider for the Mississippi State Board of Contractors. MHI provides access to a variety of continuing education opportunities, seminars, and certification programs that help housing industry professionals maintain a competitive edge, and that essential to new licensure standards.

Previous courses include OSHA certification, first aid, and safety in addition to marketing and social media. The association is continually considering new partnerships to expand these opportunities.

Selected courses are also approved by the Mississippi Real Estate Commission and meet licensure requirements.
